Just One More Eerie Obama Moment: Presidential Seal Falls Off the Podium in Mid Speech

Do you belive in signs from God, omens, symbolic moments that portend the future? I do.

Sometimes the most seemingly inconsequential events actually do mean something, even if we cannot see what that is at the time. Is the Obama presidency quite publicly falling apart? With Rahm [fucknutsville] Emmanuel leaving, what will the next two years bring? Gold and silver prices are skyrocketing and that is a clear portent of immiment hyperinflation of the dollar. A hyperinflating dollar will mean a collapsing Obama presidency with little credibility or relevency. It struck me that this little moment in the article below WAS A SIGN OF THINGS TO COME.

As if things weren’t already strange enough in this year’s 2010 midterms, with anti-Obama sentiment at an all time high and his popularity and his poll numbers at an all time low, the presidential seal came loose and dropped off the podium where Obama was giving a speech in mid sentence. Things that make you go “hmmmm.”

But there was still a certain uncomfortable symbolism when the US presidential seal fell of Barack Obama’s lectern as the leader of the free world delivered a speech at a women’s conference in Washington last night.

After realising something was wrong and peering over the lectern to see the seal now decorating the floor, Obama made a quick recovery.

“That’s all right, all of you know who I am,” he joked, prompting a wave of laughter from the audience.

He also told Fortune magazine’s Most Powerful Women summit at the Carnegie Mellon Auditorium that whoever hung the seal would probably be experiencing a degree of anxiety.

“I’m sure there’s somebody back there that’s really nervous right now, don’t you think?” he said. “They’re sweating bullets back there.”
